We love Spanish Prisoners so much that we managed to persuade them to contribute to our very good Leg Guitar v Tuckshop EP Club. However seeing as we are yet to visit the shores of NYC since we discovered them we are yet to see them perform live. This pain is eased and is not a huge issue when they get to record these brilliant sessions with the good guys over at Breakthru Radio. It’s awesome so watch on!

Our good friends over at CITYFIX have asked us to do a series of mixtapes for the discerning cyclist. Being fans ourselves of anything with two wheels we accepted the challenge. Here is the first one of what we hope will be many “Cycle Sounds” Volumes. It’s pretty loud so will probably make you pedal faster!

This is an absolutely brilliant video made for the equally excellent ‘Radical Dads’, a three piece from NYC.  Beautifully spliced together from freshly shot 8mm film we are extremely grateful to both Radical Dads and the man who made the video; Shahin Izadi.

This film really is quite a find and is certainly a worthy addition to  the VHS Vintage Vault pile that we have been collecting. It seems that back in 1973 a group of young Turkish film makers decided to produce “3 Dev Adam” which translates to “3 Giant Men”. The story line takes on the idea that the well known Marvel comic hero Spiderman is in actual fact quite evil and has, for quite a while been terrorising the streets of Istanbul with his evil gang.
